Hanstholm's location in the northwest corner of Denmark makes it a natural centre for landing fish from the north, which is one of the reasons why more fish are being landed at the port.  Hanstholm has the shortest sailing time to the good fishing grounds in Skagerrak and the North Sea. This means that, in addition to the vessels registered with the port, it is also visited by many vessels from other Danish and foreign ports.

In Port of Hanstholm, you will find Europe's largest concentration of fish industries specialising in processing, as well as Denmark's largest and most advanced Seafood Centre.
