The Port development plan

Creation date: 10 November 2008

The approved development plan for the Port of Hanstholm is now to be carried out into action.

For this purpose a public meeting was held on 22nd October at Hotel Hanstholm - on this occasion the Port has informed about its ambitious plans and how the work is actually to be carried out.

almost 150 people participated in the meetning. The chairman of the port, Mr. Poul Arne Jensen, addressed a few words of welcomed followed by the chairman of the association Hanstholm Port Forum, Mrs. Randi Holler, who spoke about how important it is to collaborate. Mrs. Birgitte Juhl went through the action plans for the 4 work groups defined as actions for Fishing-, Ferry-, Transportations and Other actions. Hereafter Britta Vang Mikkelsen spoke about hanstholm Port Forum, the association of the companies, and their role for the future. The Mayor of the Municipality og Thisted, Mr. Erik Hove Olesen, started the debate which was chaired by Jan Krogh.
